Transcoding mit kodi

  • Hallo,

    endlich läuft mein kodi sauber mit allen DvDs und Musik. Jetzt hab ich ihm eine Portfreigabe ins Internet bzw. eine Möglichkeit über Fritz.vpn eine Möglichkeit gegeben, mir auch auf Montage meine Daten zur Verfügung zu stellen. Allerdings geht das bei meinem upload von 2Mbit gar ned, was Filme angeht.

    Gibt es eine Möglichkeit ein Addon oder irgendetwas, um über transcoding 1080p runterzurechnen und mir dann zur Verfügung zu stellen?

  • Meine Daten liegen auf meinem Server hier bei mir zu hause. Ist ein Win 2012 Server. Und ich will meine Daten "streamen" um auf meinem Tablet/Notebook von unterwegs aus meine Mediathek nutzen zu können. Bisher habe ich gedacht, das mittels VPN und gut, aber mein Upload von 2 Mbit reicht nicht aus.

    Irgendwelche Ideen?

  • Naja es ist schon so, dass meine Freundin auch ein Notebook hat und wenn sie unterwegs ist in der Arbeit, sollte sie auch drauf zugreifen können. Da bin ich schon froh, dass sie das mit der vpn Einwahl hinbekommt.

  • Ich brauche eine Cross-Plattform für meine Tablets usw. Plex hört sich gut an, aber leider nur auf Englisch. Fällt wegen meiner Frau aus. Kodi kann doch auch Upnp. KIommt da kein transcoding dazu?

    Oder gibt es eine andere Möglichkeit? Eine Art vpn-Programm, welches transcoding anbietet oder irgendwas, was man sonst wie von extern dazwischen schalten kann?
