arm64-v8a.apk für die Shield 2015/2017/2019 Pro und armeabi-v7a.apk für die Shield Tube. Wobei ich mir bei der Tube nicht ganz sicher bin. Müsste jemand anderes nochmal bestätigen.
Ob du die Shield Experience installierst, musst du schon selbst entscheiden. Hier im Forum gibts eine Diskussion dazu. Einfach mal durchlesen, siehe auch meinen letzten Post.

Wenn ich so darüber nachdenke… Wurde Deinterlacing überhaupt schonmal auf der Shield unterstützt?
Gefühlt ist nach dem Update aber das Framerateswitching oder das Deinterlacing schlechter geworden. Fußball sieht gerade fürchterlich aus auf Sky. Das ist mir so vorher nicht aufgefallen. Kann das jemand bestätigen? Oder ist es ein Hirngespinst bei mir.

Frage in die Runde an Live-TV Nutzer:
Bei mir hängt sich Kodi 19.3 Store Version häufiger auf. Bild bleibt stehen, dann ist Kodi weg, Shield Oberfläche. Wenn es dann 1-2 x abgeschmiert ist, läuft es dann. Kann aber auch passieren wenn man den Sender wechselt. Hatte ich vorher nie.Hat sowas noch jemand?
Ich habe das Update zwar noch nicht durchgeführt, aber das was du beschreibst habe ich mit Kodi Matrix auch mit der Shield Experience 8. Vielleichts gehts dann bei mir ja nach dem Update…
Welches PVR Backend hast du denn im Einsatz?
Bei mir läuft TVHeadend. Alles Up-to-date. Das Problem habe ich mit Kodi 18 und aktuellem Nexus nicht.
Warum schreibe ich das hier, wenn ich das Update gar nicht durchgeführt habe. Evtl. liegt es ja nicht an der Shield Experience 9, sondern an Kodi 19, warum auch immer du das vor dem Update nicht hattest.

Der ist aber wohl nach einer Woche testen kostenpflichtig. Alle anderen Filebrowser müssen wohl noch das neue Android 11 Berechtigungskonzept implementieren.
Mich schreckt das Update momentan auch noch etwas ab, wobei ich nicht auf lokale Dateien zugreifen muss. Meine Files werden per smb/nfs abgerufen. Eigentlich dürfte ich kein Problem haben. Mal abgesehen davon, dass Kodi bei einigen gar nicht mehr startet… Oder wie seht ihr das?

Hab mir mal ne neue M." SSD für mein OMV System geholt, die 120GB wurden einfach zu wenig, ist nun ne 500GB Platte geworden.
Hauptsächlich schuld daran trägt Plex, da ich die ganzen Thumbnails etc. über die SSD laufen lasse.

Ich nutze ZFS und warte noch darauf, dass das Modul operiert wird. Anscheinend liegt da aber gerade der Fokus. Ich kann mir das also auch bald mal anschauen.

Hast du schonmal eine andere App per Sideload installiert oder funktioniert das auch nicht?
Funktioniert das Installieren von apks denn grundsätzlich?
Ich verwende dafür auf meiner Nvidia Shield die App „X-plore File Manager“. Das hat bisher immer super funktioniert. Auch wenn das kein Sony TV ist und bei der Shield die arm64-v8a statt armeabi-v7a verwendet wird, sollte das ja (eigentlich) genauso funktionieren. Kannst es ja mal damit ausprobieren. 
Was ist denn eigentlich die genaue Fehlermeldung? Kannst du mal ein Foto/Screenshot machen?

thank you for taking your time and explain everything in here but I have no problem playing DV files even the 4k ultra ones , these are some smaller ones like 4GB - 8G per file , I cannot say in here what are the files cause I will be banned but can you please message me in private so we can have a conversation or maybe you can do the same test as me and check the result

Great! So, I don't need to test it. DV and Atmos works for you with the mp4 demo files. Which build did you use for your tests? As I already said, this demo mp4 files should also work with an unmodified Kodi Matrix. If it is not the case, you made a mistake in remuxing/converting your movies, use the wrong settings (every hardware/software component can play a role) or your hardware/firmware doesn't support it somewhere in the chain.

Hi all, I have a Sony x900h TV and I have installed Matrix and Master but I always have a problem when Im playing some movie files with HEVC .265 , the image will have green lines and blurry , the only way that I can make it work is to disable the processing " allow hardware acceleration - MediaCodec Surface from the settings . Please let me know if there is a fix for this cause its happening on all Matrix or Master builds . Thanks
Its happening only with some files that have HEVC x265 - description from the file is ( HEVC h.265 web dl , dolby digital , 5.1 ) . Thank you
Neither @Maven nor anyone else here is developing the DV or audio/micro stutter code. Maven gives us builds combining the code from other kodi developers like @quietvoid or @fandangos.
At the point of developing the DV code focus was on devices like the Nvidia Shield 2019 Pro and some Amazon devices (I don’t know which exactly).
With a Sony device/tv we can’t help you here, at least in my opinion. There were some positive feedbacks in the kodi.tv forum for Philips and Sony TVs. Try to ask for help there.
Here is the mixed result for the profile 7 mkv enhancement, where I searched for the keyword „Sony“:
Keep in mind that this thread is for profile 7 mkv enhancements, which you get if you remux your 4K UHD disc and not for profile 5 mp4 web downloads. I don’t know if there is a thread for that kind of files. Maybe because of legal issues… I don’t want to know where you got these files from.
Did you try the demolandia demo files I linked above?
In early days of DV developement these files worked out of the box with an unmodified Kodi Matrix.
I tried both latest official Matrix and Nexus last night. Matrix didn't triggered DV at all (wrong colors). Nexus triggered DV with the same problems (lost frames + freezes).
Interesting! I can only say that it already worked with matrix. I can try to test the demolandia files this week again with my official Kodi (Nvidia Shield 2019 Pro, LG C9, Sonos Arc) and report back here.
DV is out of development scope at the moment. But there is/was some good activity in fixing Dolby Atmos audio drop outs and micro stutter issues:

Read the first post carefully. The thread is for discussion of the builds provided in that thread only, no DV enhancements for mkv capabilities integrated. But Kodi Matrix should support DV profile 5 mp4 already. Try your luck in that thread. Don’t forget to describe your setup and to post a [definition=12,0]debug[/definition].[definition='1','0']log[/definition].

Mostly It doesnt want to seem to play on DV MP4 files, with me it stops/Freeze playing after a minute or so.Only DV mkv play flawlessly on my shield.
Can you repeat it with one of the following files?
