OpenELEC mit Zotac CI323 nano 100% CPU

Hi Leute,

ich hab da ein etwas merkwürdiges Problem und hoffe das Ihr mir helfen könnt.

Für meinen HTPC im Schlafzimmer (man gönnt sich ja sonst nix) hab ich mir einen Zotac CI323 nano geholt. Dazu noch 4GB RAM und eine SD Karte mit OpenELEC drauf. Eigentlich wollte ich das ganze per CAT Kabel anschliessen hab das aber wohl versehentlich irgendwo angebohrt... daher nun per WLAN in meinem Netzwerk. Erste Tests mit diversen Filmen liefen auch ganz gut, aber gerade bei BluRay MKVs hab ich das Problem das die Wiedergabe ruckelt.

Erst dachte ich es liegt am Netzwerk, aber dann hab ich mir während der Wiedergabe mit "O" die Auslastung anzeigen lassen und mitbekommen das von den 4 CPU Kernen immer einer bei 100% ist wenn es anfängt zu ruckeln. Ich hab die gleichen Filme dann mal an meinem Desktop mit Win10 und Kodi getestet und dort komme ich max. auf 15% Auslastung. Auch meine zweite OpenELEC Maschine im Wohnzimmer kommt nur auf max 20%.

Ich habe extra diverse Testberichte im Netz gelesen bevor ich mir das Ding gekauft habe und da hieß es eigentlich das sogar 4k flüssig läuft nur bei H265 Content könnte es zu den genannten Problemen kommen. Ich hab aber nur H264 Content! Bin mir grad echt nicht sicher was ich machen soll weil mir die ZBox so eigentlich gut gefällt und ich die eh nicht mehr zurückschicken kann...

Meint ihr wirklich es liegt an der Hardware oder soll ich nochmal etwas an den Einstellungen drehen. Derzeit ist alles auf den Standardeinstellungen bis auf die Sprache und halte die Netzlaufwerke...

Wenn man davon ausgeht, das das Gerät korrekt funktioniert liegt es nicht an der Hardware. Mal Grundsätzlich rate ich dir zu Libreelec anstelle von Openelec.

Einfach mal testen downloads findest du hier inkl USB-SD Creator https://libreelec.tv/

Der N3150 wird unter den offiziellen OpenELEC nur schlecht unterstützt (Treiber etc einfach zu alt).

Ich hatte tatsächlich gestern Abend probiert ein Update von OpenELEC auf LibreELEC vorzunehmen über das tar Archiv.

Leider scheint da was nicht ganz so geklappt zu haben, jetzt bekomme ich nur noch ein "boot:" und nichts geht weiter...

mach ne saubere, frische Installation das lohnt sich auf jeden Fall und ist ja im handumdrehen erledigt.

gerade mal Quick and dirty alles neu installiert. Also nur das Notwendigste eingestellt (Netzwerkshare, WLAN)

Leider scheint das irgendwie noch schlimmer zu werden jetzt habe ich immer einen der 4 Kerne der auf 100% läuft. Libre ELEC hab ich die Generic Version 7.0.2 genommen...

Kann ich den noch etwas testen woran das liegen kann. Ich meine an einen Hardwarefehler kann ich nicht recht glauben und ihr sagt ja auch alle die Hardware sollte eigentlich potent genug sein für die Wiedergabe.

kannst du dich mal per ssh einloggen und top einbgeben ? (strg + c beendet das wieder)
Das ganze sieht so in etwa aus, evtl läuft da etwas amok (wlan stick oder ähnlich).

probier mal ob kodi runter taktet wenn du stop machst etc

wenn er nicht runter taktet guck mal wegen bios update + ob du die C-States alle aktiviert hast

Interessant finde ich die IDLE Anzeige zumal laut "TOP" die eine CPU bei 100% ist...

Könnte ich noch was testen? Ich kann ja LibreELEC noch einmal installieren aber ich glaube nicht das das was hilft. Kann es eventuell an einer BIOS Einstellung liegen?

Guck mal ins bios + EVTL kann das auch ein altbekannter Bug sein, wäre mir aber neu das es den noch gibt. Bitte auch die 7.90.006 probieren !

Ich werd gleich noch mal ins BIOS schauen. Nach was soll ich genau schauen?

Die neue Version werd ich dann morgen mal testen...

BIOS nach c1-7,bzw cstates oder Performance throttle etc, alles was irgendwie nach cpu heruntertakten klingt aktivieren.

Hallo zusammen,

ich hab heute mal ein bisschen was probiert und ich glaube ich weiß woran es bei mir liegen könnte.

Ich hab ja in meinem ersten Post geschrieben das ich WLAN nutzen muß weil mein LAN Kabel Beschädigt ist. Ich hab die ZBox jetzt mal ausgebaut und wieder direkt ans LAN gehängt. Und was soll ich sage, kein einziger Kern geht über 20%, das Video läuft flüssig!

Ich denke also das das Problem wohl eher irgendwo in einem Fehler im WLAN Treiber liegt, oder?
