Appreciated the help, I did get it to work! So excited. However having an issue. The video in the menus in playback studder, also noticed the audio in the menus are hit and miss. Is that a known issue or should it work? Also is omega the newest stable maven?

Update: just discovered the playback issue only happens on 4k movies menus. Movies with Blu-ray’s that have the same menu playback in video and audio fine.

Update:

I changed “adjust display in settings” under videos to “…on start/stop “ and the studder seemed to stop however the menu video, it’s still running at half speed. However it’s only on the menus for the 4k Blu-ray’s. The identical Blu-ray with the same menus work perfectly. So now it’s just the 4k menu videos running slow and that’s my only problem.( and I’m using maven omega the lastest update on shield pro )

Got it to work! At least in hdr. Menus in hdr and hd work perfectly however it’s not seeing Dolby vision in movies or playback off an iso or bdmv file. Is it able to play Dolby vision movies and menus off a iso/bdmv file?

Hey, I’m working to install maven kodi on shield pro with the newer 9.2 firmware update. However I’m having issues with installing the jre Java for android with kodi. I’ve tried 2 different methods with both omega kodi and piers mabven build. The first was to use x-plore file manager to click the jre .exe file to install there and , well it didn’t work so I then tried to use the addon kodi and both builds failed to see the file or if I opened .exe the image inside also didn’t show up in add on. I’ve posted in many forums asking people for instructions on how to install the jre Java for android file and they keep just sending me to the same kodi nerds page however I still don’t understand how to install it, what I’m doing wrong or how to troubleshot it. Any advice is appreciated. I do not know confidently how it is sntalled on shield pro. It’s the 64 1.2 zip Java for android file. Any guidance welcome.

Greatly appreciate it however….It’s not working, is it incompatible with the new shield pro os? Or should it work?

After reading through here it seems that Java runtime environment needs to be installed with maven on shield as well?

Hope I’m not posting in the wrong place. I’m trying to get a kodi build that will play iso menus. I was told maven on shield pro could however I’m having a hard time getting it to work. Am I misguided that maven build on Kodi will do this? If anyone knows a method I’d appreciate the advice.Thanks!
