Not sure if this is the best place to post this, but I am trying to track down a weird effect I am seeing on my LG OLED TV while using Kodi via an nVidia Shield to play 24fps films.
- I have turned off all motion interpolation in my TV settings.
- I have Kodi set to set the TV refresh rate to match the source material
- I have whitelisted the resolutions and refresh rates in Kodi
Even so, I notice in some scenes there still appears to be a soap opera effect. This is happening mostly in darker scenes, which is odd.
Has anyone else experienced this?
