I think I have misunderstood part of your programming. Sorry about that. The TV Stations menu is actually the "ON TV" thing at Magine. I thought it was Channels.
I think that "ON TV" it is a good thing to have but I miss the Channels menu point. A single point where all MY channels are gathered and where I can start live tv and see what is on right now. I do not know if its possible to create one but that would make the addon a lot better when it comes to live-tv.
The reason for that is that there are channels missing from the ON TV menu. My Norwegian channels are not there. So I can not reach them at all.
What is your opinion on this ?
btw the Norwegian Channels are also missing from the Mediathek.
I was wrong about the fact that you can not play Swedish Channels live.
In my defense there are two things that confuse me.
The first one is the fact that there are lots of SVT1 channel icons on the TV Stations Screen. (Look at the attached file.) One of them is actually the right live one, and it works!
But, when I go to Mediathek to check which one who should be running now, I see that that the "current" program is not there. But it is not true. In the Mediathek the Swedish channels have the wrong start time They are one hour backdated. This confused me for quite a while. The program that REALLY started at 19:00 and ended at 20:00 looks like it started at 18:00 and ended at 19:00 in the Mediathek.
Why that is I do not know.
so, It would be good to get rid of the extra icons in TV Channels and have the right Start times in the Mediathek.
When you switch to Channel. You cant Rewind the Show to the Beginning? Should work. So you switch to a show, and when you want to see it from the beginning just rewind. OK, works fine for me.
The Language of the Interface depends on your LanguageSettings of Kodi Ah, perfect. Attached are two files, one for English and One for Swedish.
I have ordered Norwegian Channels from Magine When I watched them I realize that they work better than the Swedish ones. With Norwegian channels I can watch programs live. I can not do that on the Swedish ones. There is that hour that disappears...
Another thing that struck me is that the Norwegian channels only appear once, The Swedish channels occur several times with different programs. I suspect that that is not how it is supposed to work, is it ? If that is true then it makes much more sense... But then, why do I have several programs for the Swedish Channels ?
Mediatheke works perfect. Much better than in Magine.
In The TV Stations screen I think that you just present stuff like magine does itself (please see the picture).
Typically you come and have missed your program by 10 minutes or so, Would it not be perfect to start that program.. Often you also want to see when your program starts. At least there should be a sorting order of Sender - Time - Sendung which is what you normally would want. No need for this to be dynamic and move with time though. (The backward scrolling can be handled in the future. No need to rush,)
Another thing I am thinking of is that it looks as if you can change language (German, English, ...) but there is no setting to actually set it. Should it not be set there..?
If you want, I can translate the English section and build a Swedish one and send them to you..?
The channels do not work anymore. In the TV channels section it stops when I press the button to start a program. In Mediatheke the weekday names do not work. Just says error... Monday Tuesday and so on...
Sending you the [definition='1','0']log[/definition] file.
I have edited the strings.xml file for English and Created another for Swedish. Might have destroyed something but do not think so at least I do not see it.
There is one more thing that I have observed that really puzzles me.
None of the Online-links works. They start a program but not the right one..
If I go into Mediatheke, I can never see a finished program ,if it was not finished MORE than one hour ago.
My "theory" is that there is a clock problem. When the magine addon tries compute when to start a program at a certain time it does wrong by exactly one hour. It may (very well) have something to do with TimeZones. I am sorry that I do not have a better way to describe my problem.
"The Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy: Episode #1.5" (1981) Barman: [whilst greeting Arthur and the others at Milliways] It's not unusual for customers to be disoriented after the time journey. Trillian: Time Journey? Ford Prefect: You mean... this isn't the afterlife? Barman: The afterlife? No, sir. Arthur: So... we're not dead? Barman: Sir is most evidently alive otherwise I would not attempt to serve, sir.
Sure, I bet your English is better than my German. :). I understand most of the German but when I am supposed to write something down...
Anyway thanks for helping me. It is very kind of you.
I started Kodi. I put the [definition=12,0][definition=12,1]debug [definition='1','0']log[/definition][/definition][/definition] on. Started the Magine addon. Everything looks fine and I started some live program on SVT2. It runs perfectly for about two minutes and then freezes. Sound continues to work. I suspect that it has something to do with the encypting of the stream but really I'm just guessing...
