Flashen einer Android TV Box mit S905/S905x Chip auf Libreelec/CoreELEC und wieder zurück

    wer Nightlies verwendet muss ja eh damit rechnen, dass er sein Gerät unter Umständen bricken kann, wenn er auf den internen Speicher updatet. Und eine offizielle, fertige, Kodi 18 Version gibt es ja noch nicht.

    Ich hoffe dass es keine Probleme gibt, wenn ich meine Geräte update - das wird aber erst bei Erscheinen der offiziellen, fertigen Versionen von Kodi und LibreELEC passieren. Weiß gar nicht warum alle unbedingt Betatester spielen wollen.

    gut, das es wieder möglich sein wird, auf internal upzudaten, auch wenn es einige Steine gibt, die im Weg liegen.

    Wenn man "beta, alpha" Tester spielt, sollte man so oder so diverse Backups haben. Die Zahnstocher Methode geht nach vorherigem "falschen" update übrigens auch sehr gut, wie ich feststellen mußte :whistling: .

    Ich werde das Vorgehen dann im ersten Thread posten... sobald es eines gibt :P

    8.90.6 should not be installed to internal, you will not be able to upgrade without bricking again.

    If you want to install to internal then use the image here , it contains multiple fixes and will not cause future upgrade problems.

    3. das ist kein Geheimnis. Die Gründe wurden hier schon sehr oft genannt.

    4. Fazit: wenn man es also wissen möchte, erfährt man es hier ganz sicher. das hab ich hier in der kurzen Zeit schon herausgefunden.
    5. Frag doch einfach... (Also ich geb Dir zB. immer Antwort. Versprochen)

    WOW Adam, that's what I call prompt support. Of course I will install this build immediately. Of course, I was aware that this procedure was imminent. But whatever. That's how it is. That's a hobby and it's fun. Everyone can watch films and series. That just does not make fun of me.

    Mein Vorgehen riskierte allerdings bewusst einen Brick.
    Da ich aus einer glaubhaften Quelle erfuhr, dass meine Beelink Mini MXIII einen eMMc als Internen Speicher hat, und diese gar nicht unter nem NAND-Gesetz stehen.
    Ein sicheres Indiz dafür dass Du einen eMMc-Speicher verbaut hast ist zb. wenn Du per SSH auf der Console blkid eingibst und dort /dev/data & /dev/system
    auftaucht... Zumindest sagte das meine Quelle...

    Da wäre ich mir nicht so sicher, habe das mal bei mir getestet

    das kam raus die mmcxx ist meine SD karte womit ich starte. Bei mir steht auch /dev/date sowie /dev/system trotzdem finde ich nirgends angaben was im Gerät ist.

    Das Script hat angeblich ne Abfrage drin... Sofern kein eMMc verbaut ist, soll er nichts machen...
    Ich habs auch nur durch ausprobieren erfahren... Irendwer is immer der dumme...
    Gestern war ichs... Aber dann lernte ich draus..

    Ich selbst kann Dir nicht mehr sagen, als dass /dev/system und /dev/data ein sicheres Indiz dafür sein soll, dass es dann funktioniert...

    Nö, nur mache ich es generell nicht, auf mein SattoIP Server startet es auch durch USB-Stick. So habe ich immer das Gerät als Original und einen Nachteil habe ich auch nicht wirklich mit SD.

    I didn't know my builds was being used by users on the kodinerds forum until @Raybuntu told me, of course you can ask me in German, Chrome browser translates text pretty well but my response will be in English as I don't speak German.

    kurzes feedback-> läst sich intern auf die Bqeel M9cmax (2gb Ram+ 16gb emmc) ohne Probleme installieren.

    Ähm, wie lautet Dein Paypal Konto? :P

    Steh gerade etwas auf dem Schlauch..wollte aus aktuellem Anlass und aus Interesse meine z69 3/32GB mit LE auf dem internen Speicher wieder zurück zu Android bringen. Ich schaffe es aber nicht die Box in den Recovery Mode zu bringen. Ich habe es mit SD Karte und Android Image probiert, wie auch ohne. Im Amlogic USB Burning Tool wird mir die Verbindung zur Box ganz kurz angeziegt, danach verschwindet die "connnect" Anzeige. Bootlogo am Anfang ist noch das ursprünglioche der Box, danach gehts direkt mit LE weiter. Evtl. jemand eienn Tip? Reset Switch und Male to Male Kabel sind vorhanden..USB wurde auch an beiden USB Anschlüssen probiert (OTG und normal)

    I have to say though I love all things German and having owned a BMW and currently an Audi I have to say German cars are the best (everyone I know also agrees).

    I live near Liverpool, in fact I lived in Liverpool for a short period as well :)

    If you want to be a test dummy then some feedback on the latest devel build would be great link, if you could test live tv and pass-through audio for issues it would be very much appreciated.

    @adamg At the moment I'm still sitting at the dentist and I do not know exactly how it will be after, but I'll see what I can do.

    I've installed the latest Version from test.libreelec.tv on Friday and test it on my X96 Mini Box, successfully.

    Unfortunately, I will not be able to test live TV, as I do not have the resources, but all sound formats up to DTS-HD MA are no problem
