log-files voll

  • Hallo liebe Gemeinde,
    habe soeben eine böse Überraschung erlebt. Plötzlich kam ich in meinen Kodi-Pc (debian Linux) gar nicht mehr rein. Habe mich dann remote drauf geloggt und festgestellt, dass kodi meine Log-Files so voll geschrieben hat, dass ich mich deshalb nicht mehr anmelden konnte über den x-Server. Wie kann so was passieren?

    syslog, user.[definition='1','0']log[/definition] und messages haben jeweils um die 60 Gig und da ging mein PC in die Knie.

  • Das ist wohl eher Tuxtv ;) steht da doch.
    Und kA. Vieleicht den Loglevel auf [definition=12,4][definition='1','3']Debug[/definition][/definition] gestellt?

  • Installiere Dir logrotate und stelle es entsprechend ein.

  • Danke für den Tipp. Jetzt plagen mich allerdings andere Probleme. Aus mir völlig unerfindlichen Gründen hat kodi, vdr, ein Bug oder was weiß ich den Inhalt meiner channels.conf gelöscht.

  • Der VDR kann je nach Einstellung die Kanalliste während des Betriebes neu schreiben/aktualisieren. Kein Platz -> Datei korrupt.

  • Ja, scheint so. Plötzlich habe ich 122 Kanäle. Die will ich gar nicht. Brüll!! In meiner channels.conf sind aber nur die zwei, die ich auch dort hingetan habe. Sehr mystisch- Wie krieg ich jetzt die 122 Kanäle wider weg und vdr/kodi dazu nur die in meiner channel.conf zu verwenden?

  • Jetzt hat mir der vdr tatsächlich meine channels.conf vollgemüllt. Im setup.conf war der updtaeprograms Schalter auch auf 5 gestellt, obwohl ich den mal aui 2 gesetzt hatte. Nun habe ich den erstmal auf 0 gestellt. Und alle meine mühevoll erstellten ikons für die Sender sind auch verschwunden. Ja, man sollte die Platte nicht unnötig voll machen. Nur verstehe ich nicht, wie das passieren konnte.

    Jedenfalls danke euch für die Anregungen.
